I know, not most of the people find it fascinating but the few i have come across do love love reading .Fortunate enough that my friends & family share the same interest as me . I still remember my first novel it was a thriller book which i was glued into.i would read it for hours and hours, maybe that could be the reason for me to become a novel addict. I have always wanted to join a book club or create one of my own,i owe it to the busy schedule in my life and of my friends which has repeatedly managed to tarnish the idea.
Why do we read ? Well its a pointless question for some but for the few we read because we simply enjoy it .
To actually think of it there isnt a precise answer to it .I read because it is a cheap in expensive get away vacation for me....Isn't it so much fun ! when there isnt any limits or boundaries ,we can visit the past or the future,visit the pyramid whenever we feel like .
Many people like to escape the hustle & bustle of real life and be captured by a story which involves something special, unreal or different . People enjoy being in someone else's shoes - someone extraordinary, so that we can look at the world through another eyes. I consider them to have magical powers in them, they not only share their knowledge to us but to most of us they are our most faithful companion after a stressful day or after a bad break up.
I have created this blog cum book club for all my friends who love to read but haven't joined a book club yet or created one.
